Funding Updates

  • Aidoc raises $150 million over summer to expand clinical AI! An impressive number, let’s see the results!
  • HOPPR complete series A at $31.5 million to scale their Imaging AI developer/deployment platform, and we welcome Woojin Kim to Scan & Sip.
  • MAUI Imaging raises $14 million for novel ultrasound technology. A huge congratulations to David Specht.
  • Ultromics use the summer season to close $55 million Series C to scale its echocardiogram-AI for heart failure and US expansion.
  • Better Medicine raise $1.2 million; the Estonian radiology AI start up developing CT scan tools.
  • RIVANNA are awarded $2.2 million in NIH grant to develop an ultrasound guidance solution for paediatric lumbar punctures.
  • OneMRI raised $2.5 million to accelerate national expansion in Australia for whole-body MRI scans. Things you love to see!

Partnerships & Acquisitions

  • Sectra signs $21 million enterprise imaging contract with a large US medical centre.
  • The FDA cleared AI guided cardiac ultrasound software – HeartFocus by DESKi, launched in the US with Butterfly Network, Inc. Congratulations Pernille Bruun-Jensen.
  • Bayer and Blackford split after two years integrated, the consequences are jobs potentially lost, but there is so much to learn from this collaboration and the meaningful work Blackford has been driving for over a decade.
  • RADPAIR and AdvaHealth Solutions form a strategic partnership which no doubt will blossom.
