FDA Approvals

  • Mvision AI has received CE mark for it’s Workspace + under MDR Class IIa. This is the first of many exciting announcements for the company in the coming months including new iterations and funding.
  • Diagnoly receives FDA clearance for it’s AI-powered platform that assists clinicians in real-time ultrasound assessment of fetal heart and fetal brain.
  • Harrison.ai gets (BDD) breakthrough designation device via FDA for 3 CT imaging AI solutions.
  • Bunkerhill health receives FDA clearance for first-ever AI solutions to detect mitral annular calcification!
  • Deephealth secures FDA for their our AI-powered automated White Matter Hyperintensity (WMH).
  • Intrasense announces CE marking of their new AI Imaging solution DUOnco Pancreas.
  • Circle Cardiovascular Imaging announced 510(k) clearance for their cvi42 Plaque solution.

Funding Updates

  • Roclub, founded by Matthias Issing and Andre Glardon secured CE mark for it’s Teleoperation Platform and now announces Series A funding of $11.7 million let by YZR Ventures and Speedinvest and several angel investors.
  • RADiCAIT announced $1.7 million pre seed to develop transformative solutions in Radiology. Led by Sean Walsh, CEO.
  • Breast Imaging start-up BeSound raises $7 million in seed funding, gearing up for national rollout to healthcare clinics across the US.
  • Datamonk, an agentic AI platform that automates medical imaging data migrations has raised €1.6 million at pre-seed. Metric Bio had a great conversation with Jaap, CEO about the future of Datamonk and it looks bright to say the least. See you in the Windy City!
  • MediView secures $24 million Series A, led by GE Healthcare, Mayo Clinic and Cleveland Clinic to impact image-guided surgery through AR and AI. Quite the line up for partner investors.
  • QT Imaging secures $18 million in financing. They now prepare for NASDAQ relisting.
  • Cerebriu raise an additional DKK 70 million following last years Series A of DKK 130 million Series A.

Partnerships & Acquisitions

  • Smart Reporting acquires Fluency for Imaging FFI. The union of teams and technologies becomes Jacobian.
  • Metric Bio client Segmed have entered a transatlantic partnership with Deemea to unlock medical data innovation.
  • Private equity firm Blackstone and TPG are set to acquire Hologic in a $18 billion dollar deal. This is the biggest deal of its kind and marks a significant milestone in Medical Device history.
  • Ramsoft partners with Koios Medical to provide integrated AI powered software for breast and thyroid cancer diagnosis.
  • PAIRE have partnered with AMG Medtech in the UK & Ireland to distribute their Pionus, the first AI assistant for Nuclear Medicine.
