I’d like to share a very brief story. I was let go from a company I worked very hard for six and a half years, at the height of the pandemic, not long before Thanksgiving 2020. With 20 years of engineering and construction experience in operations, a new job should be a piece of cake. APPARENTLY NOT SO. For three months through the holidays, I searched in my field, to no avail.
