? Unique Opportunity: Senior Associate, Biomechanics Practice - Remote in California ?
We're excited to announce an exclusive opportunity on behalf of a leading consulting firm in search of a motivated Senior Associate for their Biomechanics practice. This position allows for remote work throughout California, with occasional in-person office meetings as needed. Ideal locations span both Northern and Southern California, with accessible offices in location.
? Your Role:
In this pivotal role, you'll spearhead efforts to expand the scope of the biomechanics practice, with an emphasis on transportation and premises liability sectors. Your duties will involve the design and execution of experimental studies, computational analyses to assess human/product interplay, and contributions to biomechanics litigation consulting projects focused on human injury analyses.
Key responsibilities will encompass:
• Managing and interpreting data from comprehensive human studies and computational evaluations
• Authoring proposals to tap into new avenues in the human performance technology sector
• Thoroughly reviewing a range of materials to extract essential information and insights
• Handling biomechanical data involving kinematics, dynamics, and injury mechanisms
• Presenting findings in clear and concise written reports and presentations
• Implementing cost control measures in project management
• Engaging in business development activities and presenting at industry meetings
? Your Expertise:
• A bachelor's degree or higher in Biomechanics, Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar field
• Proven track record in designing studies and performing associated statistical analyses
• Expertise in managing litigated files, with deposition and trial experience
• Familiarity with both Plaintiff and Defense work, as well as first-party claims
• Experience liaising with risk managers
• Outstanding written and oral communication abilities
• Leadership prowess and the capacity to engage with diverse professionals
• Previous experience in team leadership and fostering a collaborative work environment is a plus
