The Company
At Metric Search we're partnered with an established CRO that are going through a period of extensive change, with a new leadership team transforming & growing the organisation into one of the leading players within the space. They're looking to add to their operational team due to their expected growth trajectory & recent investment. This is a key leadership position within the team, being the primary point of contact for the project management, lab operations, and other relevant departments, overseeing the scientific staff.
The Role
Manager Analytical Chemistry
On-Site, Alabama
Some of your responsibilities will include the following:
- Manage scientists, which will include hiring and training.
- Oversee Bioanalytical LC-MS/MS methods, including planning, designing and development.
- Manage day-to-day operations & resources..
- Have input into budget allocation for overseen areas.
- Provide technical expertise as well as support for collection & analysis of data.
- Implement new steps to streamline processes.
The Requirements
You will need to have previous experience managing projects & staff (approx. 4+ years), ideally in a GLP environment.
Alongside the above, requirements will include:
- Min. of Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field - plus relevant experience.
- Experience with & knowledge of LC-MS/MS.
- Previously trained junior colleagues/staff & implemented training procedures and/or programs.
- Have been point of contact and managed client relationships in the past.
