Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated Electrical Engineer to join our team in Lafayette, California. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for various types of buildings and structures. You will work closely with other members of the MEP team, as well as architects and other design professionals, to ensure that the electrical systems are integrated effectively into the overall design of the building.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and communications systems
  • Collaborate with other members of the MEP team, architects, and other design professionals to ensure that electrical systems are integrated effectively into the overall design of the building
  • Ensure that electrical systems comply with all relevant codes and regulations
  • Provide technical support to clients and contractors
  • Oversee the installation and maintenance of electrical systems on construction sites
  • Prepare and review electrical engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering and design
  • Strong knowledge of power distribution, lighting, and communications systems
  • Experience in the MEP industry is preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and other industry-specific software
