The role
Chief Accounting Officer
A hybrid role that will be best suited to someone living in IL/WI/CA.
You'll be leading the international finance team based across the US and Germany, overseeing all tax and owning the group statutory reporting.

This is a senior role within the business, and you will be partnering with the CFO with quarterly audits and financial information and investment projects.
To succeed, you will already be a proven financial / accounting leader. You'll have a track record of many years working in industry, ideally within a fast growing, global start-up.
You will need to be able to demonstrate that you can lead a team, and have the desire to lead and grow the finance function.
This role will allow you to work remotely, but you will ideally be based in IL, WI or CA to assist with occasional office attendance.
The requirements
· 5+ years accounting leadership experience - Director/VP/C level
· Background of working in the healthcare/medical industry (3+ years).
· An understanding of working in a fast-growing start-up.
